Online Speed Dating vs. Real speed dating
Wednesday, August 5th, 2009A friend of mine went to a speed dating event a couple of weeks ago and he loved it and wants me to go next with him.
I have always wanted to go to one of the speed dating events but never had the nerve to go when you can sit at home then go speed dating on your computer and it’s free and you can have as many dates as you want and i guess becouse your more relaxed you are more like yourself.

How Not To Date, Big Brother Style!

Even if you don’t watch it, you can hardly miss all the gossip because it’s making the front page of the newspapers and the new headlines as well. With spitting housemates, bullies and he arguments, it is hard not to get caught up in it, but it can give you a few hints and tips on how NOT to go about dating!
Dating in the Big Brother house seems to be a given every year, but this year’s a little different. Dale is lusting after Jen (although I’m not entirely sure why) while she’s flirting with Stu! It’s definitely all go on there right now. So what can you learn about dating from it?
Well, first things first, it just goes to show that being too full on or playing it cool don’t work. Dale pussyfooted around Jen until Stu entered the house and it’s got him nowhere. If he’d have been completely honest from the start, he might not be walking around heartbroken at the minute. However, he might feel a little differently about her when he comes out of the house. Any feelings that you might have for someone may well change if the person you know isn’t being up front about who he or she is. At least if you’re honest from the start of any dating relationships, you’ll know for sure whether someone likes the real you or not!
Just How Cheesy Are Chat Up Lines?
Tuesday, July 1st, 2008If you read any women’s magazines then you’ve probably seen at least one article or letter about chat up lines and how bad they are if you use them on the UK dating scene. Having a drunken man or woman come up to you and start spouting about heaven losing an angel, underwear on bedroom floors and various other rubbish can be funny and annoying all at the same time, but just how cheesy are they?
Well, the majority of women agree that using chat up lines during potential dating situations can be a real turn off. If she likes a guy and he tried to chat her up then it could very well put her off. However, if a guy was to use well placed chat up lines that are funny and charming then it can get her more interested. For example, “do you come here often” followed by a little comment about it being cheesy and just a way to get talking to her can certainly get her talking. However, any reference to sex before dating will definitely make her turn and walk away.
If you are female and want to use a chat up line to get a guy talking and arranging a date then don’t. Men don’t like chat up lines. They do like girls making the first move, but won’t respond to anything that they might come out with, ironically enough!
If you want to play it dating safe then don’t use chat up lines at all! Just start talking!

save me a seat on the school bus every day and I would sing to her all the way to school. (The song was falling in Love again.)
Our friendship was strong since we grew up together from primary school and now into high school. I can remember to this day (more than four decades later) the way she looked and talked. I remember always wanting to kiss her very large, very full lips that she always kept painted perfectly. (She never knew I wanted to kiss, and I don’t think she felt the same way.)
